The space industry has been one of Elecnor Deimos´strategic areas, with the European Space Agency (ESA) as its primary customer.

Elecnor Deimos plays a role in most ESA space programmes: Launchers, Planetary Exploration, Manned Flights, Earth Imaging, Satellite Navigation, etc., and is involved in engineering, developing and integrating operations systems for the Flight Segment, Ground Segment and User Segment.

Furthermore, it plays a role in all space mission phases, conducting mission analysis, system engineering, Guidance, Navigation and Control (GNC), Attitude and Orbit Control Systems (AOCS), Ground Segment, On-board Software Systems, etc., performing tasks involving engineering design, the definition of algorithms, prototypes, development of operational software, system integration, validation, system roll-out and operational support.
