Elecnor Foundation and Deusto Business School sign partnership agreement to boost entrepreneurship and innovation

The Elecnor Foundation has teamed up with Deusto Business School to boost and promote entrepreneurship as a vehicle for innovation

The Elecnor Foundation has signed a partnership agreement with DeustoBusiness School with the aim of boosting and promoting entrepreneurship as a vehicle for innovation – one of the paradigms of the new economy – through the CorporateLeadership Programme in Entrepreneurship and Innovation (PLCE).

The professionals taking part in this programme, jointly run by Deusto Business School and ICADE Business School and currently in its eighth year, will learn about the most cutting-edge entrepreneurial initiatives of major corporations from the executives who have led them.

The training aims of this programme, which are entrepreneurship and innovation, are two of the main areas of knowledge of the University of Deusto’s business school, whose mission also includes strengthening ties with business, society and public institutions.

According to Almudena Eizaguirre, Director of the Deusto Business School, "entrepreneurship and innovation are crucial to the transformation and adaptation of organisations in their attempts to respond to new market and environmental challenges”.

Meanwhile, Elecnor Foundation Chairman, Fernando Azaola, said that: “Innovation is one of our hallmarks and has been at the heart of our social infrastructure projects in America and Africa since 2010. Corporate social responsibility is shifting from providing support to social innovation or social entrepreneurship. In this case, together with Deusto Business School, we aim to work together to train future leaders who will be responsible for building an innovative society for future generations within the framework of the Sustainable Development Goals”.
