Elecnor becomes a Signatory of the United Nations Global Compact

Elecnor has stepped up its commitment to the United Nations Global Compact, the world's largest corporate sustainability and transparency initiative, by becoming a Signatory.
In this way, Elecnor strengthens the alignment of its business strategy with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Elecnor's infrastructure, energy, water and environment projects are helping to address the global challenges posed by the SDGs, such as climate change and reducing the energy divide.
For Elecnor, this milestone reflects the Group's commitment to the ongoing improvement of its management practices and procedures, an area in which the organisation has led the way ever since its foundation 60 years ago. In this way, Elecnor continues to strengthen and consolidate its ethical commitment in all spheres of its activity among its employees and stakeholders.
In 2018 Elecnor became the first company in its sector in Spain to obtain UNE-ISO 37001 (Anti-bribery Management Systems) certification from the Spanish Association for Standardisation and Certification (AENOR).
