Elecnor Seguridad, Willis Iberia, GTD Sistemas de Seguridad and SGS sign an agreement to protect critical infrastructures

Madrid, 26 January 2012.- The agreement forming the consortium consisting of Elecnor Seguridad, Willis Iberia, GTD Sistemas de Seguridad and SGS was signed this morning to protect critical infrastructures.

Antón Serrats, the Chief Executive of Willis Iberia; Miguel Belló, the Director of Elecnor Seguridad; Ángel Ramírez, the Chairman of GTD Sistemas de Seguridad; and José Manuel Pérez, the Director of SGS were at the ceremonious event, which took place at Willis Iberia's headquarters.

This collaboration came about thanks to the recently passed Law 8/2011 of 28 April, which sets out the obligations public authorities and private operators must comply with regarding critical infrastructures, specifically the adoption of a series of solutions and actions ensuring the function thereof, as they provide essential services in society.

The consortium consisting of Elecnor Seguridad, Willis, GTD Sistemas de Seguridad and SGS was formed to provide comprehensive solutions and services to fulfil the obligations included in the Law via abilities, skills, experiences and best practices for bound operators.

The range of services provided by the consortium includes a comprehensive design, management, execution, engineering and implementation service of the operator's plan, specific installation plans, property security plans, IT security, matrixes, risk analyses, communications and procedures, in addition to recuperation and business continuity services.
